Who is responsible

What Shyft does with your data

Shyft reads the spend and the purchase results of your ad accounts and, once you set it live, changes the amount of your existing daily budgets between platforms. That is the only purpose for which we process your data.

What we collect

  • Your account: the email address of the Google account you sign in with.
  • Platform access: the access and refresh tokens Google and Meta issue when you connect. They are stored encrypted and used only by Shyft's own servers.
  • Ad account data: account ids, names and currencies; campaign and ad set names, ids and daily budgets; daily spend; purchases and purchase value within 7 days of a click.
  • What Shyft did: a log of every budget change (before, after, time), so you can see and undo it.
  • Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in. No analytics, no advertising cookies, no trackers.

We do not read your ads' content, your audiences or your customers' personal data.

Google user data

Shyft uses Google sign-in (your email address) and the Google Ads API scope to read your account's spend and conversion figures and to change campaign budget amounts as described above. Shyft's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or let humans read it except to fix a problem you report, for security, or where the law requires it.

Meta data

Data from Meta is used only for your own account: to show your Meta results and to decide how your daily budget is split between your connected platforms. It is never shared with other advertisers, never pooled across customers, and is deleted when you disconnect Meta or delete your account.

Who processes data for us

  • Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany: servers and database.
  • Cloudflare, Inc.: network delivery and protection of the website.

How long we keep it

As long as your account exists. Disconnecting a platform deletes its tokens and asks the platform to revoke Shyft's access. Deleting your account (button on your account page) deletes everything we hold about you at once; backups roll over within 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, or object to its use, by writing to hello@shyftads.com. We answer within 30 days. You can revoke Shyft's access at any time in your Google account or in Meta's Business Integrations.

We email you tips and offers only if you ticked the box for it. Every such email has an unsubscribe link.
